FOB stands for "Free on Board." It's like when you're getting a package delivered to you.
Imagine you're buying a toy from a friend who lives far away. Your friend says, "I'll take care of the toy until it gets on the delivery truck, but after that, it's up to you!" That’s what FOB means. Your friend (the seller) is responsible for making sure the toy gets safely onto the truck. Once it's on the truck, you're in charge, and if something happens to the toy after that, it's your responsibility.
So, in simple terms, FOB means the seller takes care of everything until the item is safely on the transportation, and then the buyer is in charge from there.
